The Rise of Inglorious

The five-piece rock band, Inglorious, are gearing up to release their third studio album this month on 25 January through Frontiers Music Srl, the follow-up to 2017’s ‘Inglorious II’, entitled ‘Ride to Nowhere.’ Three singles have so far been released, the latest being ‘I Don’t Know You.’ The album will feature a total of 11 new tracks.

Speaking about the album, the band’s frontman and leader, Nathan James, said: “This album is different in many ways. The songs came about very quickly. For me this album is very personal. I am for the first time writing about a lot of my feelings, relationships, and losses. also had moments since the last album where I was extremely angry with people, so there is a bit of that in this album too. Sonically, Kevin Shirley [the album’s producer] has made this album sound different to our last, we feel it’s heavier sounding and more produced, we spent a lot of time in the studio making sure we were all really happy with our sounds.”

The final months of last year, however, saw Inglorious face a shocking shake-up as the band’s two guitarists and bassist all departed in one day, leaving just Nathan James and drummer Phil Beaver. Following this dramatic turn of events, the band announced that it was welcoming 19-year-old guitar virtuoso Danny Dela Cruz to the fold. Later on, the band revealed two further additions to the new line-up, guitarist Dan Stevens and bassist Vinnie Colla. The completed line-up will herald a brand-new era for the rising British band.

Over the years, the band has gathered a rather large fanbase thanks to the coverage they consistently receive from UK radio station Planet Rock. In addition, the band has toured rather extensively through the UK in recent years and selected markets in Europe alongside bands like The Winery Dogs and Steel Panther, as well as playing major festivals. This month will see the band embark on another extensive UK tour in support of their new album, which will also mark the live debut of the new line-up. The dates are as follows:

JANUARY 2019 Southampton Engine Rooms – Monday 28th Bristol Academy – Tuesday 29th Norwich Waterfront – Thursday 31st

FEBRUARY 2019 London Shepherds Bush Empire – Friday 1 Birmingham Institute – Saturday 2 Nottingham Rock City – Sunday 3 Glasgow Garage – Tuesday 5 Newcastle Boiler Shop – Wednesday 6 Manchester Academy 2 – Thursday 7 Bingley Arts Centre – Friday 8
