Men's Rugby are aiming for a promising Varsity
"We will settle for nothing less than a big win" - Harry Sams
Rugby have three teams in Varsity, and their all aiming for victory. InQuire sat down with three of the team captains, who each gave their voice on the matter of Varsity - linked in a KTV video, soon to come out. Seems Pete Wampamba Strain (2nd Team Captain) is aiming for another win, Harry Sams (1st Team Captain) wants a first time victory and Ben Stone, well, he wants to have a good time.
Harry Sams (1st Team Captain):
"We have very high hopes for Varsity 2019. Both the 1st, 2nds, and 3rd XVs will settle for nothing less than a big win. Players to watch out for are Lewis Jacobs, who plays Hooker for the 1st XV. Despite playing very few games this season so far, Lewis is one of the most naturally gifted players in the club. Also, Rob Hill plays winger for the 1st XV and is one of our top try scorers this season. I wouldn’t be surprised if Rob manages to find his way onto the score sheet at this years’ Varsity."
One word to sum up Varsity: Successful
