Queen + Adam Lambert to bring the Rhapsody tour to the UK!

Queen + Adam Lambert are set to embark on a 7 date UK arena tour as part of their 2020 European leg of The Rhapsody Tour, including a 5 night residency at London’s o2 Arena.

This is the band’s first tour following the triumphant success of last year’s biopic Bohemian Rhapsody which went on to gross over $900 million, scooping up many awards, including 4 Academy Awards.

The band has just recently wrapped up their 25 date North American leg of the tour which saw them unleash their new extravaganza upon 400,000 people. This new production sees the band collaborating once again with Stufish Entertainment Architects who were also responsible for bringing the band’s last eye-popping tour to audiences which namely celebrated the News of the World album.

Set designer Ric Lipson describes the new production as “a new chapter in the history of the band. Once again for them expanding the parameters of what a live music experience can be, this new show delivers the band’s most spectacular yet, an innovative and interactive celebration of the continued power of Queen’s music.”

Founding member and guitarist Brian May comments: “This is a fearsome new production taking the Queen legacy to a new place. I’m well proud.”

Singer Adam Lambert also adds: “I can’t wait to get back to the UK and Europe, we had a blast on our last tour, and I am so excited to bring this new show over there!”
