Person fatally hit by train near Canterbury East

A person has died this morning after being hit by a train at Canterbury East station. Police and ambulance crews responded at 8am this morning with the incident.

Trains were delayed between Faversham and Dover as the incident was dealt with, and next-of-kin notified.
